Minor Site Changes

Made some minor changes to the site:

Changed the listing of sites on the links page
Added a list of contents for some tutorials

Project Section Removed from Navigation

The link to the project section in the main navigaton menu has been removed.

The only way to reach the projects section now is by visiting the links page, where you will find a menu for the section.

Unlike the other parts of the Tutoria website, the project section is mainly used to test design changes before implementing it on the actual website.

Tutoria mobile website launced

New subdomain at yolasite: tutoria.yolasite.com

Since Yola changed from its previous name, Synthasite, they also implemented a new sub-domain to their websites called yolasite.

With the change, I planned to change to the new sub-domain as soon as possible but the "eternal" was no longer available. A few months had already passed since they implemented the new sub-domain. Since I did not have any other choice, I changed the name of the website to its new name, Tutoria. Hope you guys like it.

A forum will be added to the website soon. The forum has already been made but there are no posts yet and i have to make some changes to the settings and add some features to make it more presentable and easier to use.

Counter

The hit counter on the index page stopped working. I wanted to change it by using another hit counter but I read on an article that it seems to be unfavorable due to linking issues. So, I am going to try Google Analytics but I guess I will have to wait for a while before it starts recording stats on my pages.

Edit: I found out that it is fine to use hit counters. Currently using stat counter on the index page.

Page Rank

My website finally has a ranking in Alexa.The current rank is 16,146,945. I have been trying to optimize my website for Google and I have 3 pages indexed by Google search engine. For Yahoo, it has one internal link, For Bing, it hasn't found my website yet. I have to continue optimizing my website to improve its rank in Alexa. It has already been a few months since I started making this website and the progress has been quite slow. Eight months have already passed since my last post and I guess I need to post more regularly. I have added some new updates to the site especially to the tutorials section under the projects web page.

Eternal Remade

I deleted the website and remade it again. I changed a setting on the website and I couldn't undo it. Since it seemed like I had no other choice, I deleted it. Remaking the website again actually made me more interested in adding new updates to the website. But the updates may still take a while to finish. hehe....
