Placing Text around an object:
1. Command-click (PC: Control-click) the
thumbnail preview of the object's Layer
on the Layers palette.
This will create a selection around the pixels in the layer.
Or use the
quick selection tool to select an area in the image.
2. Click the Paths palette tab, click the load path as selection then
click the Make Work Path from Selection icon on the bottom of the Paths palette.
3. In the Paths palette tab,
click the new work path to highlight it.
4. With the Text tool, click on the left top side of the path we just made.
5. With the Move tool,
click-and-drag a corner of the text area and expand it
so there's some room between the object and the text.
